International Workshop on Combinatorial Algorithms Problem Site
The International Workshop on Combinatorial Algorithms
(IWOCA) grew, in 2007,
out of the Australasian Workshop on Combinatorial
Algorithms (AWOCA) which has been held annually, usually but not
exclusively, in Australia or New Zealand since 1990. The first
IWOCA
was held at
Newcastle, NSW, Australia in November 2007.
An important part of IWOCAs will be problem sessions, the number
depending on the amount of interest leading up to the workshop. For
these we need unsolved problems. If you are attending the Workshop
and have something suitable please send it to
simpson@maths.curtin.edu.au.
Anything vaguely related to
combinatorial algorithms is appropriate. Your problem will then be
posted on this site before IWOCA so that participants will have time
to consider it before it is discussed at
the Workshop.
Problems will remain on the site so that, if still unsolved at the
workshop, they can be reconsidered in the future. Any progress on
the problems should be reported to me or the proposer so that this
can also be reported on this site.
Your submission should contain a clear statement of your problem
with your name and affiliation, and may include motivation, known
related results, references et cetera. It should be between 20 and
500 words, though these bounds are not strict. I can handle TeX, LaTeX,
MSWord and plain text.
