| ABOUT ME:
I joined the Department when it was a School as a lecturer in 1981
and progressed through promotion to Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor
and finally to Professor (Personal Chair) in 1992. From 1994 to 2004,
I was the Head of Department/School. In October 1999, I formed
the Western Australian Centre of Excellence in Industrial Optimisation
(WACEIO)
and have been its Director ever since.
